Outbreak

In June of 2012 strange reports began to headline the news.  Throughout the North East and into Canada strange outbreaks were witnessed as competent and successful individuals were overtaken with rage and bizarre, carnivorous activity.  The rumored cause was ingestion of a new cutting edge drug, bath salts, however toxicology reports cleared the enraged offenders of any know drug-use.  The perpetrators were subdued, shipped to, and held in an isolated area of Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC until a special team could assess the cause of mental disturbance, magnified strength, and sudden appetite for flesh.  In a short time, the highly contagious cerebral infection was confirmed.  Quickly the special team of scientists returned to the experiment records, looking to develop an antibody to save the lives of the recently infected and make an initial attempt to prevent the spread of this probable epidemic.

Immediately it was discovered that the receipt for destruction of the initial batch of Toxo-TTX was missing.  The team began to suspect that the viles had found their way into the hands of a bitter and destructive person or group with a gruesome agenda.  This truly was the beginning of an OUTBREAK!

Just 4 short month have passed and two-thirds of the country are affected by the contagion.  Families and friends are literally tearing each other apart.  The macabre streets of your home town are littered with shattered glass, and cars that have been turned over and set a fire.  The horrid smell of burning flesh lingers on your clothes and sounds of moaning paired with hysteric laughter makes you want to crawl into a corner and hide until you wake up and realize all of this was just a bad dream.

This is not a dream.

Some may call it the post apocalyptic America.  Most have no idea what to do or where to turn.  Transmuted men, women, and children have overtaken our once-thriving community.  You need to find the rest of your family.  The sun has gone down and you find yourself trying to recognize your way back home.  Can you maneuver your way through the unfamiliar back allies, deserted streets and empty parking lots without becoming a victim of the OUTBREAK?
